What is North Shore Chattanooga?

The North Shore is connected to downtown by 4 bridges, including the Walnut Street Bridge which is one of the longest pedestrian-only bridges in the world. You can toggle between the shores of the Tennessee River by walking, using a bike from Bike Chattanooga or taking the free electric shuttle.

The trendy NorthShore is known for its mix of independent clothing and jewelry boutiques, cozy cafes, gastropubs, and popular neighborhood restaurants. Walking trails crisscross wetlands in riverside Renaissance Park, while adjacent Coolidge Park has an interactive fountain, a restored antique carousel, and a climbing wall. Pedestrians and cyclists can reach Downtown Chattanooga via the 1891 Walnut Street Bridge.
The Stuart Heights little community is nestled in the hills just north of Chattanooga in the Northshore district. There isn’t a neighborhood like it with its old Oaks, quiet streets, and large lots.
